One of New York's Top 12 Psychics, Fahrusha Accurately
Predicts 2005 Daytime Emmy Winners Live on "The View"

New York, NY May 24, 2005

Two years ago, a New York magazine cover story named the psychic Fahrusha one of New York City's top dozen "supernatural superstars." On Friday, May 20th, Fahrusha proved her talents in the most public of settings: on national television, sharing her predictions for the winners of the 2005 Daytime Emmy Awards with the hosts of "The View" -- with a 75 percent accuracy rate.

Fahrusha has been invited back to appear live on "The View" on Monday, May 23rd, to discuss her uncannily accurate predictions, which included the victories of Ellen DeGeneres as best talk show host, "Jeopardy" as
outstanding game show, and Meredith Vieira as best game show host. The odds of her randomly guessing the winners in these categories are only one in 100.

Her one miss might have been due to wishful thinking: Despite admitting to the hosts of "The View" on Friday morning that "I'm getting some really strong vibes here about Ellen DeGeneres," Fahrusha predicted that "The View" would win best talk show. At Friday night's awards ceremony, "Ellen" won that category as well.

"I'd mentioned on 'The View' that Ellen DeGeneres was strongly influenced by Jackie Gleason's spirit, whether she realizes that or not," says Fahrusha. "I'd like to speak to Ellen about that some time." After Fahrusha's segment, the hosts of "The View" interviewed Patricia Arquette, who plays Alison DuBois on the hit series "Medium" with Joy Behar asking Arquette, "What did you think of Fahrusha?" Arquette smiled and replied, "She seemed very cool...A sweet lady." "Yes, very sweet," agreed Behar.

In addition to making predictions, Fahrusha -- whose father was psychic, too -- also locates lost objects (e.g. she helped an award-winning author locate the diamond that had fallen out of her engagement ring). She also
analyzes handwriting, and writes a monthly column for Tiger Beat magazine commenting on teen stars' signatures.

Fahrusha is based in New York City, and is available for private readings as well as media appearances.
